Sunrise in Bali / Levé du Soleil à Bali

I was often told to wake up early if I wanted to visit the most touristic locations in Asia and get the perfect shot without any photobomb. Well, this was certainly the case in Tanah Lot, Bali when I wake up at 4AM to get there at 6AM (I didn't even pay to enter!). I was joined by the talented photographer Nikita who knew very well the temple and surrounding making this photo session even better than I could imagine! So, here's a few tips that I can share with you on my recent visit of Tanah Lot. 

First, get there early! I can assure you it is worth it and you'll thank me later. Second, explore all the different sections of the temple as there's more than one ideal spot to shoot with the famous temple in the background. Last, if you feel adventurous enough like we did, go down to the small portion of the beach by taking the skechty stairs/rocks down the hill. If you're there before the site opens, you'll be able to take some pictures before getting warn by the security guards (like we did!). 

On m'a souvent recommandé de me lever très tôt si je voulais visiter les endroits les plus touristiques d'Asie et obtenir le parfait cliché sans intrus. Eh bien, c'était certainement le cas à Tanah Lot, Bali quand je me suis levée à 4h du matin pour y être à 6h (bonus: l'entrée est gratuite à cette heure!). J'ai été accompagnée par le talentueux photographe Nikita qui connaissait très bien le temple et ses alentours, rendant cette séance photo meilleure que je ne pouvais l'imaginer! Alors, voici quelques conseils que j'aimerais partager avec vous lors de ma récente visite à Tanah Lot.

Premièrement, arrivez tôt! Je peux vous assurer que cela en vaut la peine et vous me remercierez plus tard. Deuxièmement, explorez les différentes sections du temple car il y a plus d'un endroit idéal pour photographier le célèbre temple en arrière-plan. Enfin, si vous vous sentez assez aventureux comme nous l'avons fait, descendez la colline et rendez-vous à la plage en prenant les « escaliers» (ça ressemble plus à des rochers). Si vous êtes là avant l'ouverture du site, vous pourrez prendre quelques photos avant d'être averti par les gardes de sécurité (comme nous l'avons fait!).
